About Me

Hi, I’m Jordan Doty, a sports and portrait photographer currently based in Columbia, Missouri and North Texas. I specialize in sports photography, with a focus on capturing the energy, emotion, and moments that make sports and people memorable. I’ve always been drawn to the power of a single frame to freeze a moment, capture raw emotion, and tell a story without words. Over the years, I’ve developed a style that is fast-paced, bold, and focused on the details that matter most — whether that’s the intensity in an athlete’s eyes, the energy of a game-winning play, or the quiet moments in between. My work is rooted in both instinct and experience. I pride myself on creating sharp, compelling images that not only document a moment, but elevate it.

Experience

I’ve had the opportunity to work with athletes, teams, schools, training organizations, and media outlets across North Texas. My work has included game-day coverage, playoff and championship events, media days, portraits, senior events, graduation, prom, and other major school events. I’ve contributed photography to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, with my work featured across their platforms, and have been trusted by schools and organizations throughout North Texas to provide professional sports and event coverage. My coverage spans a wide range of sports and levels of competition, including athletes such as McDonald’s All-American nominees, MLB prospects, state medalists, and championship-level athletes.
